For Organizers

RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR ORGANIZING SCHOOLS

Before the market

Registration – Kids Market in the Schoolyard — 2026

The school is required to register in advance at kidsmarkets.org/ as an organizer.

“Kids Market” sign

Every organizing school makes a sign reading “Kids Market”, which is displayed prominently during the event. The sign can be made by the children themselves — this is also their first entrepreneurial challenge. We recommend including the kidsmarkets.org/ logo and your school’s name.

Preparing the children

Make sure the children are familiar with the rules of participation — what they can sell, how to serve customers, and how to handle money. You’ll find preparation guidance at kidsmarkets.org/podgotovka-za-pazara.

During the market

Documentation

During the event, it is mandatory to take photos and video footage documenting the market. We recommend capturing:

  • The children’s stands and their products
  • The moment of the first sale
  • The interaction between children and customers
  • The overall atmosphere of the market
  • The winners and the awards

Naming a winner

Each organizing school independently names a winner from its own market. The criteria are up to you — they could be the child with the most sales, the most creative product, the best presentation, or the most inspiring business idea. We recommend the jury include teachers, parents, and members of the local community.

The winner from your market earns the right to qualify for the national final on November 29, 2026 in Burgas.

After the market

Report

Within 7 days after the market each school sends us a report by email sdrujenieusmivka@gmail.com. The report should include:

  • Date and location of the market held
  • Number of participants — children and stands
  • A brief description of the event
  • Name and description of the product of the named winner
  • Photos and video footage from the event
  • Amount raised and the cause it will be used for

Publishing materials

Publish the photos and videos from the market in one of the following ways — or both:

  1. Post directly in our official campaign Facebook group: facebook.com/groups/951149241111693

Or

2. send the materials to us and we’ll take care of publishing and distributing them.

When posting, please use the hashtags #detskipazar and #detskipazar and tag the campaign page.

Video for the final

If you’d like your winner to take part in the national final in Burgas, send a 60-second video short in which the child or team presents their business idea — what they sell, why they chose it, and what value it brings to customers. Send the video by email to sdrujenieusmivka@gmail.com or in the Facebook group mentioned above.
